Terrascan has completed imaging a series of boreholes for WSP on the Burrawang to Avon Tunnel Project. It is a long-term project designed to improve water storage capacity of the Greater Sydney region given the recent drought. The boreholes ranged from 50-260m in depth. Acoustic, Optical and Natural Gamma tools were used to log and orientate structural features. This will assist in the design teams when constructing the tunnel. Our Troop Carrier was the perfect vehicle as it could handle the difficult terrain.
