Terrascan has completed imaging a series of boreholes for WSP on the Burrawang to Avon Tunnel Project. It is a long-term project designed to improve water storage capacity of the Greater Sydney region given the recent drought. The boreholes ranged from 50-260m in depth. Acoustic, Optical and Natural Gamma tools were used to log and orientate structural features. This will assist in the design teams when constructing the tunnel.
